Leader – Shane Moore
Shane is the Leader of Hartlepool Borough Council and has held the position since June 2019, dealing with day to day administration of the Local Authority as well as inheriting a budget deficit of over £6m from the previous Labour Administration. With support from across the political spectrum Shane has worked hard to deliver a realistic budget that also deals with the deficit in difficult times. Shane is a married father of two, has a keen interest in the navy and maritime history, he’s a fan of American football and a long suffering Miami Dolphins fan.
